Trigger Launches Clone Wars: Droids Over Iego

The third of five games created for the Clone Wars online comic book series has arrived! Trigger proudly launches Clone Wars: Droids Over Iego, a top-down arcade shooter with a vast starfield map and bonus side missions.
You play as a Republic Clone Pilot setting out in a V-19 Torrent Fighter to answer a distress call coming somewhere from within the asteroid-cluttered moons of Iego. You are soon swarmed by Separatist Droids! And if that isn’t enough, the asteroids are armed with laser webs, blaster cannons and rockets! If you’re skilled enough to fight their way through the maze of rock and angry droids, you’ll have a chance to add your initials to the Top Ten Leaderboard and check out another exclusive page from the online comic book.

This summer, Trigger created a website to promote the new MGM movie, Fame – an updated version of the classic, originally released in 1980. The goal for the site was to capture the modernized look and feel of the new movie, while staying true to the original’s story and message.
Upon entering the site, the user is immediately immersed into the music and visual elements of the film through a Flash-animated intro. From the homepage, the users can then explore the major characters, the plot, gallery shots, videos, contests and promotions related to the film.
In addition to these sections, users can also participate in the “Wall of Fame” by uploading a photo and creating a profile. By sharing their particular passion, fans become PART of the site. These profiles rotate over the homepage logo and can be manually selected by clicking hot spots. Every 2 weeks a new “featured profile” is selected and displayed.
