Trigger created “Gunship Over Florrum” to supplement the Clone Wars online comic book and provide new content to fans anxiously awaiting the release of the new season in September. This is the first of a new series of online games Trigger is releasing in 2009 for Lucasfilm.

In this game, players can jump into a Republic gunship for an adventure of their own, battling their way through waves of Federation droids and fighters on the sulfuric planet of Florrum. Upgrades are available that enhance your range weapon (such as by adding lasers and rockets to your arsenal), add to the strength of defensive shields, supply you with bombs, give you extra lives, and award you bonus points.

Once they reach the safety of the drop ship, users can enter their name on the Top Ten Leaderboard or view a Bonus Page of the comic book that shows the fate of one of the key characters from the story.

Trigger’s Drag Me to Hell website has won yet another award. This time, it’s Dope. As in a Dope Award. We like to think it was on account of the cool fly navigation.

The Dope Awards honor Flash websites that are, well, dope — sites that have personality, impact, originality, and of course offer great design and usability.

Trigger has just launched the “Robotize Me” online feature for Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg. Part of the official Transformers 2 website, this Flash feature lets you create a personalized, transforming robot. Add your own robot head by uploading a friend’s photo or take an instant picture of yourself with your webcam.

Robots can be fully customized; you can select the color and style of each body part. You can also choose to apply your image to one of three Transformers from the film: Bumble Bee, Optimus Prime or Megatron. Finally, you get to choose the background to set your robot against.

After completing your robot, you can choose how to save or share it, including posting it to Facebook or sending it to friends. A gallery of the robot creations of other fans can be seen on the landing page.
