That’s No Moon, It’s a Ball of Death!
http://www.simpsonsmovie.com/content/games/bod/
Simpsons fans, rejoice! The Trigger team created an off-the-wall Flash game for the highly-anticipated Simpsons Movie. In “Ball of Death,” you control Homer as he rides a motorcycle in a spherical steel cage to collect Duff Beers, Donuts and other assorted treats. Here in Springfield, the rewards are spectacular, and so are the crashes!
The game features a toon-shaded Homer, motorcycle and objects that Trigger carefully modeled under supervision of the Filmmakers. Trigger’s models faithfully recreate their 2D big-screen counterparts and work seamlessly with 2D crowd, background and sky elements.
The game includes cut-and-paste code to embed the Flash game into Fox’s MySpace.com (as well as other blogs).
The full version of the game will include a Top 10 leaderboard with global high scores for all players worldwide.
Fans across the world can enjoy the game in their own languages. Trigger simultaneously delivered versions in Japanese, German, French, Latin American Spanish, Castilian Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese (Simplified), Korean and Russian.

Trigger just launched the splash site for the upcoming 20th Century Fox feature film Hitman — the “my assassin is bigger than your assassin” adventure due out later this year. Yeah, it’s based on that Eidos video game.
Check out the trailer now at the link above. More goodness to follow this summer.

Nike Pro – Training Game Launches
In partnership with the Asia Pacific group at Nike’s world headquarters in Oregon, Trigger developed a Training Game for the Nike Pro launch in Asia. In the game, you sculpt a 5-day training regiment for Kobe Bryant, Ronaldinho, and Roger Federer. You’re scored based on how the athletes respond to your training choices.
Choices are ranked based on factors such as benefits to the athletes’ skill, body, mind and mood for disciplines called Foundation, Strategy, Practice and Recharge.
Wieden+Kennedy provided video footage of athlete responses to the training schedules created, which we inserted as responses.
The game allows players to save their progress, as well as load previous games at any time.
Developed in partnership with Wieden+Kennedy Shanghai, the game’s first launch is in China, with other countries to follow.

Building on the success of their political satire Lil€™ Bush – which made its way from Amp€™d Mobile downloads onto Comedy Central – the newest exclusive series to hit Amp€™d handsets is the celebrity satire Lil€™ Hollywood. A fully animated adventure featuring lil€™ celebrities like Lil€™ Mel Gibson, Lil€™ Lindsay Lohan, and the Paris Hilton Fairy, all of whom are innocently wandering tiny Tinseltown when all manner of (mis)adventures seem to befall them.

Update: Lil’ Bush has finally hit larger screens on Comedy Central!

ADWAD wants to share his custom Forza Motorsport 2 creation, the Gloomy Bear Mini. He says the in-game car editor is pretty tough to use, you only have vector shapes to work with, and no importing of graphics.
No commentsBe Afraid of the Devil’s Trade
Sam Raimi, Director of box office blockbusters Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3, has embarked on the Internet as a new medium to display his talent. Known for his imaginative filmmaking style, Raimi has joined forces with FearNet.com in creating a webisode miniseries, airing the first installment of an eight-part series on June 6th.
FearNet.com and Ghost House Pictures joined with Trigger to create the website for the Devil€™s Trade miniseries, and two unique features: “The Story Tree,” an interactive page where visitors can add their own scary tale to share with other visitors, and the €œScare A Friend€ video warning. Visitors can customize their very own video to warn friends and family members about the Devil€™s Tree!

This September, get ready to rejoin Alice (Milla Jovovich) in the third and final installment of the sci-fi zombie-horror series — RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION.
Trigger’s teaser site launched today, where you can watch the trailer and sign up for movie updates. Unlike the last two movies that were set in Racoon City, this latest movie has Alice and other survivors avoiding infested cities and on the run in remote places like the Nevada desert.
No commentsA Different Kind of Spider-Man 3 Fan Poster

We have another Trigger launch to share with ya’ll.
Sony Pictures wanted a fan-community based promotion to launch on the day of Spider-Man 3’s domestic theatrical release.
Photo submissions were collected via parter webshots.com, and a very large mosaic image was created. And I mean LARGE. The mosaic image is over 264,000 tiles. Users can zoom in 7 levels (ala Google-maps), each time resolving and enhancing the image further. Each tile in the mosaic can be clicked to reveal the associated Fan Profile (the actual photo and other personal info for that fan). A search function lets you find specific fans as well. You can search by first name, city, state or a combination of terms.
Once you find a photo, you can use the Send to a Friend feature to send a deep link to a pal.
Per the client’s request, this site has not database behind it. It pulls from a massive 1mb XML file (which when read in an editor is like peering into the Matrix code).
This site is just one of the many projects Trigger created for the Spider-Man 3 campaign.

Search for “Marc” in “Washington” to see one of our team members dressed in a homemade Spidey costume when he was a kid (or use this link). Search for “Perry” to see some pics of Trigger North and Trigger Los Angeles.
We were amazed to see how many people out there had really great homemade costumes. And a lot of people Photoshoped themselves into official movie key art… awesome.
