Trigger Launches The Wolfman: Legend of the Full Moon

For the upcoming Universal Pictures’ film, The Wolfman, Trigger created a ro-sham-bo style Facebook game called The Wolfman: Legend of the Full Moon where users can choose to fight as the legendary wolfman or a hunter from the early 1900s. Users can then name and customize their characters with nine possible powers or weapons they can take into battle. The game features a dynamic scoring system along with customizable character types in custom Victorian style hand drawn artwork created by our talented in-house artists. The numerous illustrations made for the application show users how their choices affect gameplay, as their character wears and holds the items they have equipped.
Players can challenge friends and other Facebook users to battles, and as they continue to progress they unlock new weapons and evolution abilities. Users can earn up to ten unique ranks specific to each character type. The game also features Global and Friends Leaderboards, and bonus content includes wallpapers and ringtones.

Trigger Launches Official No More Heroes 2 Website

Trigger worked with g-NET Media to create the website for Ubisoft’s Nintendo Wii game, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. The game series produced by Suda51 is known for its quirkiness, so Trigger designed an immersive website that would appeal to the series’ fans by matching its unique vibe. The vibrant site uses 8-bit graphics and sound effects and has a persistent full-screen video playing in the background which shows footage from the game. While users browse the site’s various sections, the video plays in the background to create an intense visual and aural combination that nearly reaches sensory overload. Users also have the option to pause, mute, skip, rewind, and shuffle the background clips. An easter egg is even hidden in the site, where an animation of Travis Touchdown’s signature beam katana move appears when users shuffle the video player’s clips. Fans on gaming forums have responded extremely well to the site and have described it with adjectives such as: nice, great, awesome, and sweet. A few have even hailed it as the “best website ever.” Nice.

Trigger Launches HP TouchSmart 600 Kiosk

Trigger recently created and launched a series of interactive kiosks built for use with HP’s latest touchscreen consumer computers. The kiosks went live in Southern California this month within one of Trigger’s favorite theme parks.
Trigger used Flash and Adobe AIR to develop a user-friendly touchscreen application for park guests to interact with. Taking advantage of the all-in-one’s capabilities, touch UI, and webcam, the kiosk lets guests take a photo of themselves, answer fun personality questions, and send their customized photo home via email. Guests can opt-in to receive sponsor info as well.
The HP TouchSmart 600 is the latest in a series of touchscreen all-in-one computers designed by HP and timed with the release of Windows 7. CNET says the TouchSmart 600 has “the best implementation of touch input [they]‘ve seen so far in an all-in-one”, which is made more impressive considering it has a 23-inch 1080p HD touchscreen.
